1 Trick to Get Kids to Calm Down

1 Trick to Get Kids to Calm Down

There are a ton of people out in the world who don’t like kids because they think they’re “hyperactive maniacs”.

Obviously, if you’re a parent or a grandparent you know that kids aren’t animals who need to be corralled daily…

But, you also realize that there are times where kids' energy levels can be a bit higher than normal, where they’d benefit from calming down quickly.

And where you’d benefit too…

The truth is children have a difficult time regulating their emotions as well as their physical energy levels for much of their early life.

And that’s why it can be so hard to get them to quiet down when you need them to be calm (like at bed time).

Part of the scientific reasons behind that kind of unruliness happens to be related to magnesium deficiencies.

Magnesium is an essential element to human health and plays a role in mental health and improving mood. Many kids don’t get enough magnesium in their diet and that could be part of the reason behind their inability to calm down.

Thankfully, Dr. Wiggy and his wife Emily made a product that helps to promote a sense of well-being and tranquility among the small humans we interact with.

It’s called the Raise Them Well Kid Safe Calming Magnesium Oil Roll-On with Aloe Vera.

Yes, that’s a mouthful so we’ll just call it the magnesium roll on for the purposes of saving time.

Parents swear by it for how it promotes peace in the home, and we hope you enjoy how it improves your life, too.

BUT, It’s Not Just Magnesium That Calms Children Down

We’d be remiss to tell you about a second ingredient in this balm that helps kids reach peak “zen”.

It’s an herb called Roman Chamomile.

Yes, magnesium is definitely a great ingredient for helping your children feel a little less frenetic.

However, by employing the gentle and soothing effects of aromatherapy in a rub on we’re able to use this herb, which has been distilled into an essential oil, for maximum soothing effects.

Aromatherapy is a well-documented practice of using essential oils (and other scents) to help promote a sense of peace in one's life.

And Roman Chamomile has a long history of being one of the best natural ways for helping people who are all wound up, wind down.

It’s the same chamomile that many people know from teas they take to fall asleep faster; and that’s exactly why it’s included in the magnesium rub on.

Studies show it’s incredibly effective for helping adults get to sleep fast.

The National Institute for Health says this on their site about it:

”Traditionally, chamomile preparations such as tea and essential oil aromatherapy have been used to treat insomnia and to induce sedation (calming effects). Chamomile is widely regarded as a mild tranquillizer and sleep-inducer. Sedative effects may be due to the flavonoid, apigenin that binds to benzodiazepine receptors in the brain.”

For helping kiddos go from a 10 to a 5 in a matter of minutes this is an incredible tool in your warchest.

If you have a child that would benefit from this soothing roll-on during any time of the day click here to grab a bottle.
