How To Stop Allergies - Naturally

Here in North Carolina allergy season is in full swing. Truth is, it’s in full swing all over the United States. Except for Alaska, they’re still under a few feet of snow so they’re a few weeks’ behind.  And that means a lot of people suffering through stuffy noses, runny noses, itchy eyes, and congestion that never seems to end.  Most people assume that allergies are something they’ll simply have to suffer through in the spring and fall. But, that’s not necessarily the case.  Truthfully the only thing you have to suffer through in the spring are the NBA Championships.... Can you tell I was a collegiate soccer player?  In all seriousness just because you have allergies today doesn’t mean you’ll have...

Pets + Babies + What?

Are you a dog person or a cat person? Neither? Maybe you like goldfish...snakes...parakeets...or pet llamas… Or, maybe you’re not much of a pet person at all. If that’s the case, I don’t blame you. Pets are certainly a big obligation. Between feeding them, bathing them (I guess fish are already pre-bathed...), and paying their medical bills, they can be a real hassle. This was no short study that gathered these results,...

The Good News Is, the Healthiest Mushrooms Are Also Some of the Tastiest and Most Popular It’s fair to say I read quite a bit about the attributes of healthy foods. Since this is the case, I think it’s interesting to note I rarely see anything written about mushrooms. And this is why I think that’s so bizarre: If you walk down the produce aisle, there’s a whole section for mushrooms. They actually take up more space on the produce aisle than many more popular fruits and veggies (keep in mind mushrooms are neither). There should be way more written about mushrooms – they’re absolutely incredible in terms of benefitting your health. Take a look as I unpack some of the health benefits associated...

Healthy Foods to Eat on Thanksgiving

Are There Really Any Healthy Foods to Eat On Thanksgiving? I know, I know. It’s Thanksgiving, it’s not supposed to be healthy. But what happens if you’re going into the holidays and you actually want to eat healthy? It’s actually pretty easy because there are a lot of really healthy foods in a typical Thanksgiving meal. Obviously, some things you’re used to eating on the day of feasts don’t offer healthy alternatives. Of course I’m referring only to marshmallows. But that should make sense. On the other hand, most meals you enjoy on this day of eating until you’re so full you can’t move have viable, healthy alternatives. Curious to see what constitutes a healthy Thanksgiving meal? Take a look. 6 Healthy Foods to...
